What you get
Access to the EduBoard platform — web app, mobile apps, and the backend services that power them — for the term you've paid for, with the support level on your plan.
What we ask
That you only use the platform for legal school operations, that you keep your account credentials private, and that you give us accurate information about your school. You are responsible for the activity of the accounts you create for your staff, students and parents.
Your data stays yours
Everything your school puts into EduBoard — student records, marks, attendance, fees, messages and documents — remains your school's property. We act only as a processor of that data on your instructions, to run your account and provide support. We never sell it, and we never use it to train advertising or third-party models.
Payments & billing
Fees are billed per your plan — monthly or annually, in the currency on your contract. Invoices are due within the period stated on them. We may suspend access to an account that remains unpaid after written reminders, but we will not delete your data for non-payment without clear notice and a window to export it.
Uptime · support
We target 99.9% monthly uptime. Enterprise plans include a formal SLA with response and resolution targets. Planned maintenance is scheduled outside school hours wherever possible and announced in advance. Status updates live at status.eduboard.tech.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to breach the platform's security, reverse-engineer it, resell access, or upload unlawful, harmful or infringing content. We may suspend an account that puts other schools, their data, or the service at risk.
Availability & liability
The platform is provided on a commercially reasonable basis. To the extent the law allows, our liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Cancellation
Cancel any time from your admin dashboard. We pro-rate refunds for annual plans cancelled mid-term. Your data is exportable for 30 days after cancellation, then permanently deleted.
Governing law
These terms and your contract are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe, and disputes are subject to the courts of Zimbabwe — unless your signed contract names a different jurisdiction for your region.
Changes
We update these terms occasionally. Material changes are emailed to your school's primary admin at least 30 days before they take effect.
